What you gain from Brown & Brown Conveyancers?

TESTIMONIALS:
Garth Brown Endorsement

Dear Garth,

I wanted to write a brief email to thank you and the Brown and Brown team for your outstanding service through a difficult house sale. As you know we live outside Austalia so it has been very challenging dealing with the real estate agent, the tenant and the purchaser from my base in London. From start to finish you managed the negotiations thoroughly and professionally and were very proactve in keeping my wife and I informed at every step. You even manged to negotiate better terms than I was expecting. I would recommend Brown and Brown Conveyancers to any prospective clients.

"A future with no keys"

Well it had to happen: iMac, iPhone, iPod, iPad and now … iKey!

According to the latest industry reports, it won’t be long before Conveyancers will be emailing pin codes out to clients on completion days rather than letting a client know their keys are ready for collection.

“Apple are developing a technology known as “iKey” which will mean that rather than carrying around a bunch of keys; people will be able to use a single electronic device to unlock their car, home or office.

You simply enter the code into your iPhone and wave the device over a electronic pad fitted beside the door to open it.

Apple has already applied for the patent for this application.

In a home – Householders will need to install electronic computer controlled locks to their doors.

The iPhone would need to be registered to the locks so they communicate with each other.

By rotating the iPhone near the electronic lock, consumers then select their pin numbers; as if entering a combination on a safe; the correct combination the door would open; if not an alarm would sound and alert is sent to the householder.

The patent also proposes to use encrypting information so that any information between the phone and computer locks prevent hackers from listening in for the code”

GARTH BROWN COMMENT:

iKey is an interesting concept and it sounds like the answer to those multitude of keys hanging on our keyring that weigh our pockets down, however, it could prove to expensive for home owners having to fit electronic computer controlled locks, maintenance and upgrades! and also having to be an iPhone user, but if Steve Jobs is behind it, like all of Apple’s innovations, it will be a ‘money making’ idea and iKeys will be launched sooner than later.  We’ll just have to wait and see.
